Dal 18 al 21 settembre si terranno come ogni anno i festeggiamenti in onore di San Matteo, santo titolare di una delle chiese più antiche della città di Marsala. “La gioia del vangelo è per tutto il popolo” (Papa Francesco, Evangelii gaudium 23) ed è fonte di pace: diventa il titolo e il fine di questa festa parrocchiale.
Venerdì 18 settembre dalle ore 20.30, seguendo un preciso itinerario che attraverserà le strade principali della parrocchia e che fanno da confine territoriale, su un’auto don Alessandro aspergerà le strade della parrocchia con l’acqua che verrà Benedetta nella Messa delle 18.30.
Sabato 19 settembre sarà dedicato ai nostri bambini e ragazzi, alle ore 20.30 in giardino la prima edizione del carnevale estivo dal tema “fratellanza dei popoli, diversi ma in pace”. Sarà un bellissimo e divertente momento dove attraverso la creatività e la gioia del carnevale verrà condiviso un potente messaggio di fratellanza e di pace. I bambini e ragazzi saranno invitati a partecipare vestiti in maschera, la serata sarà animata con musica e condivisione di crêpes.
Domenica 20 settembre alle ore 20.30 un divertente spettacolo comico a cura del gruppo Tetris. La quarta serata comunitaria, che ogni anno ha caratterizzato la festa parrocchiale, la vivremo in allegria con una serie di sketch comici, a seguire in giardino momento insieme a cura della Braceria Biondo (acquisto personale) e degustazione di vini e marsala offerti dalla cantina Martinez.
Lunedì 21 settembre -  alle ore 18.30 la Celebrazione Eucaristica presieduta dal Vescovo Angelo Giurdanella e la preghiera comunitaria al santo titolare; all’interno della Messa le benedizione e il mandato a tutti coloro che svolgono un servizio in parrocchia e la consegna del “Grazie” a due anziani per la loro sincera testimonianza di fede alla Comunità.

From September 18th to 21st, as every year, celebrations will be held in honor of Saint Matthew, the titular saint of one of the oldest churches in the city of Marsala. “The joy of the gospel is for all the people” (Pope Francis, Evangelii gaudium 23) and is a source of peace: it becomes the title and the end of this parish celebration.
On Friday, September 18th, starting at 8:30 pm, following a specific route that will cross the parish's main roads, which serve as the territorial border, Don Alessandro will sprinkle the parish streets with water, which will be blessed during the 6:30 pm Mass.
Saturday, September 19th will be dedicated to our children and young people, at 8:30 pm in the garden the first edition of the summer carnival with the theme “brotherhood of people, different but at peace”. It will be a beautiful and fun time where through the creativity and joy of carnival a powerful message of brotherhood and peace will be shared. Children and young people will be invited to participate dressed in masks, the evening will be animated with music and sharing crepes.
Sunday, September 20th at 8:30 pm a fun comedy show by the Tetris group. The fourth community evening, which has characterized the parish festival every year, we will experience it joyfully with a series of comedy sketches, followed by Braceria Biondo (personal purchase) and wine and Marsala tasting offered by the Martinez winery in the garden.
Monday, September 21st - at 6:30 pm, the Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Bishop Angelo Giurdanella and the community prayer to the titular saint. During the Mass, the blessing and mandate will be given to all those performing parish service, and the “Thank You” will be delivered to two elders for their sincere testimony of faith to the Community.
