MAY 23, 2026: LEST WE FORGET
Thirty-four years after the Capaci massacre, the Marsala Subsection of the National Association of Magistrates is promoting a day of remembrance, reflection, and civic engagement.
Citizens are invited to participate in two important moments of commemoration and culture:
5:00 PM – Marsala Courthouse (Via del Fante 50): Commemoration of the Falcone tree at the Talea. 

7:00 PM – Finestre sul mondo at Baluardo Velasco (Via Bottino): Teatro dei Pupi - "The Last Hours of Matteo Messina Denaro"
A theatrical performance written and produced by the Finestre sul Mondo cultural association. An artistic and traditional language to tell one of the densest pages of our recent history.
(In case of bad weather, the show will be held at the Sappusi Auditorium.)
Memory is not an exercise of the past, but a duty of the present.
