SOLLIMA CENTO
Rassegna musicale dedicata al centenario della nascita di Eliodoro Sollima (programma allegato)
Nella ricorrenza del centenario della nascita del musicista e compositore marsalese Eliodoro Sollima (Marsala 20 luglio 1926- Palermo 3 gennaio 2000) l’Associazione Culturale e Biblioteca non statale Otium, inserita in BiblioTP la rete delle biblioteche della provincia di Trapani, promuove una rassegna di eventi musicali sostenuta dal Ministero della Cultura e dal Comune di Marsala.
Gli appuntamenti in rassegna sono di vario genere:
performance e concerti che promuovono giovani musicisti siciliani,
concerti didattici per le scuole medie a indirizzo musicale di Marsala,
un concerto celebrativo diretto dal maestro Luigi Sollima, figlio di Eliodoro,
uno spettacolo poetico e musicale dell’Associazione Mana Chuma di Reggio Calabria
un concerto speciale dei fratelli Enzo e Lorenzo Mancuso.
Per il primo appuntamento del programma SOLLIMA CENTO - Di Bella & Arena Duo (contrabasso, chitarra e voce) il 20 Marzo ore 19.30 Food Experience a cura di CIACCO - 21.30 inizio concerto Associazione Otium in via XI Maggio 106, Marsala.

Musical festival dedicated to the centenary of the birth of Eliodoro Sollima ( program attached )
On the centenary of the birth of the musician and composer Eliodoro Sollima (Marsala, 20 July 1926 - Palermo, 3 January 2000), the Otium Cultural Association and Non-State Library, part of BiblioTP, the network of libraries in the province of Trapani, is promoting a series of musical events supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Marsala.
The events in review are of various kinds:
performances and concerts promoting young Sicilian musicians,
educational concerts for middle schools with a musical focus in Marsala,
a celebratory concert conducted by maestro Luigi Sollima, son of Eliodoro,
a poetic and musical show by the Mana Chuma Association of Reggio Calabria
a special concert by brothers Enzo and Lorenzo Mancuso.
For the first event of the SOLLIMA CENTO - Di Bella & Arena Duo program (double bass, guitar and vocals) on March 20th at 7:30 pm Food Experience curated by CIACCO - 9:30 pm start of the concert Associazione Otium in via XI Maggio 106, Marsala.
